Hildegard has over 30 years in informatics and health records and worked with INPS for 25 years, with skills in training, help desk management and product management. She specialises in clinical modelling and terminology integration (such as Readv2, SNOMED CT and dm+d), design and delivery of training and consultancy, customer technical support and management of product life cycles. She is a director of freshEHR Clinical Informatics.

In Digital Health since 1981, Ewan founded GP system supplier AAH Meditel where he was Managing Director / Exec Chairman from 1986 to 1999. He has chaired both the BCS Primary Healthcare Group and TechUK Healthcare Group. He co-founded HANDI Health in 2012, still blogs regularly, and writes at digitalhealth.net. Public and private sector consulting clients include BT Global Health Practice, McKesson, Department of Health and NHS England.

In health informatics for 30 years, Ian is a former Scottish GP. Having been a Clinical Safety Tester for GP2GP / SCR, he is now a director of freshEHR Clinical Informatics and co-chairs the openEHR Foundation. Consulting clients include Moscow City Council, government agencies of Norway and Sweden, CGI, Lockheed Martin, PRSB, NHS England Code4Health, NHS Digital, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales, Marand, Ocean Informatics, DIPS, Tieto and the Ripple OSI project.
Dr Roland Appel
Chief Data Protection Officer
Roland has 20 years experience in defence and security systems, including open standards and architectures. He holds a PhD in engineering and is a fellow of the Institute of Physics. Roland has held roles in technology development, management and commercial bidding operating across security, engineering and healthcare. His business and product development work includes a successful Innovate UK SBRI funded mobile health / point of care programme.
After studying Computer Science in Germany, Lars Paukert has been working on software projects in England, Spain and Germany, spanning the print and knowledge industry. That includes front-end as well as back-end development using technologies like SPRING, SQL and JavaFX. Whenever Lars has too much time on his hands he will implement app ideas on the Android platform or travel to learn more about other countries, enabling him to speak 6 languages - 4 of them fluently.
